Acts of Kindness
With spring break on the horizon, and summer vacation not far behind, where schedules are typically lighter and school responsibilities less, it's an awesome time to instill in our kiddos things we can do to be kind and helpful to others. Here are some great ideas we've found:
Leave encouraging chalk messages on the sidewalks around where you live
Write family members letters telling them why you love them
Take cookies to your neighbors just because
Clean up without being asked
Leave your mail carrier a thank you note
Give a compliment to someone you don't know
Let someone go ahead of you in line at the store, especially if they have less in their cart than you
Make the beds of your family members without being asked
Set the table for dinner without being asked
Leave stones with kind messages painted on them at local parks
